Neutrum® is the carbon-neutral product offering from DEACERO Group®. Neutrum® products, like all DEACERO® products, are made of recycled steel and have one of the lowest CO2 emissions in the industry, with the additional benefit of offsetting those emissions to achieve neutrality.
It means that every CO2 emission released into the atmosphere is offset by the removal of an equivalent amount.
The use of efficient production technologies with electric arc furnaces, combined with our constant investments in energy efficiency and the use of clean energy, make our production model one of the most sustainable in the world in terms of CO2 emissions.
Our CO2 emissions are among the lowest in the steel sector in North America1. In 2022, we emitted just 0.24 tons of CO2 per ton of liquid steel produced.

All carbon credits used by Neutrum® to offset emissions come from nature-based projects that have been verified by one of the following entities

Neutrum® has the same properties as standard DEACERO® steel with the additional benefit of offsetting carbon dioxide emissions to achieve neutrality.
Neutrum® addresses greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions into the atmosphere through their equivalence in carbon dioxide.
